Another Universal* app from Londo Bell, My Kids Diner is an app designed for those who are "RESTRICTED" to eat at certain diners. There are many reasons, such as allergy, religion, personal, etc. In my case - and the reason why the app is called "My Kids Diner" - it's because of my kid. He can only dine in specific restaurants because his body will have chemical reaction to various spice, or most likely, MSG, used in the food. It's trial and error for my family to discover which restaurants he can go, and which he can't. In time, that list grows, and it's getting more difficult to remember them all. Worst, with all the weekend sports activities, we need to know which one is the closest as he's constantly saying, "I'm HUNGRY!"

My Kids Diner is also great for grandparents, babysitters, and close family friends (who will take care of the kids for you when you need a day/night out)...so that they know where to order food for your children, if they are dining out. That's something that you won't be able to find in most common restaurant apps currently in the iOS App Store.
Here's how you can use My Kids Diner app.
To use My Kids Diner, you launch the app, allow location access, and enter the address of the restaurant that you are visiting. If it's a restaurant that you believe you can go to again, add it to the Favorite list. Otherwise, that restaurant goes to the Avoid list. You can search for the business name of the diners too, and you will know if it's a good or "bad" diner, or a place you haven't visited before. If you have visited before, it will show the location IF the restaurant is on the Favorite list, i.e. you can go there. To delete a previously entered record, simply enter the code of the diner (code is generated automatically by the app each time you have a new entry), and click delete!
Here's an example, say there are 2 restaurants, banana (1 location) and tomato (2 locations, like a chain restaurant). I'm going to input both banana and 1 of the tomato locations into the Favorite list, then I'm going to add the other tomato location to the avoid list. I'll then tab the Favorite at the bottom and you will see both banana and tomato in the list, with their corresponding locations shown on the map above. I'll then tab the Avoid at the bottom, and you will see tomato (the 2nd location) there. There's no map in avoid because you DON'T want to go there. Finally, I'll demonstrate the search and delete feature of the app - search on tomato, and delete banana.
